The Rising Star Officials Advanced Camp is intended for the experienced High School Varsity official, seeking to earn OHSAA Tournament assignments. It is also for those officials desiring to explore the opportunity to officiate at the NCAA level.
The Advanced Camp is designed to add the finer details to each official’s toolbox by utilizing proper OHSAA mechanics and coordinating those mechanics with the advanced philosophies of the collegiate game, including communication and game management along with other items.
Officials wanting to move upward in either the High School game or Collegiate game are excellent candidates for this Camp. Camp clinicians are Division 1 NCAA Tournament officials and are on the floor working with each and every official. This Camp continuously places attendees in Regional and State OHSAA Tournaments and into the Collegiate ranks.
Each Advanced Camper will have the opportunity to review one of their games via video with a clinician and will also receive a written observation analysis of your games the day you attend.
League assigners from throughout the state will be present at the Camp.
All Camp attendees receive an OHSAA meeting credit.
